Ward 3

The General Surgery Ward is responsible for the care of patients who are undergoing general or abdominal surgery, as well as patients undergoing trauma and reconstructive surgery. For the treatment of patients with fractures and/or traumatic injuries, the hospital offers the full range of modern implants currently available, including artificial hips.



With regard to surgical procedures involving the internal organs, one of the Department's main areas of interest is the treatment of thyroid disorders. The Department also has a commitment to promoting the use of minimally-invasive (laparoscopic) surgical techniques.
