Cardiac Surgery - Main Office

The Department of Cardiac Surgery specializes in treating patients with coronary artery disease who require bypass graft surgery. We also specialize in aortic valve and mitral valve reconstruction. An increasing number of patients undergoing heart valve surgery are now being treated using minimally-invasive procedures and special extracorporeal circulatory support systems.

The Department of Cardiac Surgery also offers combined cardiac procedures, e.g. heart valve procedures combined with bypass graft surgery. After all, optimal treatment requires a holistic approach to patient care. Cardiac patients who require surgical treatment for arterial disease will therefore have all of their treatment needs met by the Department of Cardiac Surgery. Last but not least, we also offer the use of extracorporeal circulatory support systems for procedures involving the full length of the aorta.
