Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Johannes Albes is the Head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery since, specializing in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery. Since 2015 Prof. Albes has been appointed as Professor of Cardiac Surgery, holding a chair at the Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane. He is Extraordinary Professor at the University of Jena, and teaches Health Care Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
