Intensive Care Unit

Our Intensive Care Unit, which provides an interdisciplinary approach to care, is equipped with 18 ventilators and managed by the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine and Pain Management. Approximately 2,000 patients a year are treated in the Intensive Care Unit, which is responsible for the treatment and care of critically ill patients whose vital functions are severely impaired. Intensive Care treatment forms a central role in the treatment of many of our inpatients, and often constitutes a crucial phase in their treatment and progress.
