The Brandenburg Heart Center has a total of five operating rooms (ORs), all of which are equipped with the latest in modern anesthesia machines and monitors, as well as up-to-date medical technology devices.
The Brandenburg Heart Center has a total of five operating rooms, one of which is equipped as a hybrid operating room. Equipped with x-ray imaging technology, this special operating room can accommodate both vascular surgery procedures and catheter-based, minimally-invasive procedures involving the heart valves.

- Mini extracorporeal circuit cardiopulmonary (MECC) bypass machine
- Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)
- Artificial ventricular assist devices; univentricular, implantable, biventricular, temporary
- Intra-aortic balloon pump
- Bedside anticoagulation management
- Special devices that allow the tissue adhesives needed for complex cardiac surgery procedures to be made using the patient's own blood
