The Cardiac Surgery Team
The Cardiac Surgery Team is led by Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Johannes Albes, and includes senior physicians, specialist physicians and residents. The team specialize in reconstructive and minimally-invasive surgical procedures. more
The Cardiology Team
The Department of Cardiology offers all the major diagnostic and therapeutic procedures currently used in the field of cardiology, and is led by the Head of Department Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Christian Butter. more
The Anesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine & Pain Management Team
This team, led by the Head of Department Dr. med. Georg Fritz, includes a number of senior physicians, specialist physicians and resident physicians. more
Nursing and Care Services
Birgit Pilz, a registered nurse, leads a team of qualified nursing staff, who provide care to all of our patients, from those in the Intensive Care Unit to those on the Observation Ward to on the normal ward. more
Perfusion Technology
The team is led by Torsten Mueller, who has a degree in engineering and is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all medical devices needed during cardiac surgery, including cardiopulmonary bypass (heart-lung) machines. more
