Nursing and Care Services

The hospital's Nursing and Care Services are structured in such a way as to provide interdisciplinary support across the Immanuel Hospital Bernau's Brandenburg Heart Center. Standard procedures and common quality standards apply to everything we do, and ensure that our work is delivered with a high degree of quality and expertise. All of our standards are based on the requirements of the German Law on Healthcare (Krankenpflegegesetz), other professional standards, the vision and values of Immanuel Diakonie, our own mission statement and approximately 250 of our own internal guidelines on standards in nursing.

Our aim is to provide a quality service that is delivered by highly qualified staff from different disciplines, and we place a great deal of importance on professional training and qualifications. We are a training hospital for nursing and care staff as well as surgical assistants, with most of the training provided to existing and future members of staff. During the practical part of training, our trainees are supported by qualified supervisors and mentors.
